Daniela Hölbling received her musical education in Austria and USA. (Degrees: Magistra artium with distinction and Master of Arts). She held a student assistantship at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts Graz, Austria, and a graduate assistantship at Western Illinois University (IL), USA.

Daniela has played concerts all around Europe and the United States, where in the latter she served as the concert master of the Western Illinois University Symphony-Orchestra. She is a welcome guest at renowned music festivals and in various chamber music groups and a constant member of the symphony orchestra recreation - Großes Orchester Graz and the Duo Violarra with Johann Palier, guitar. Daniela has played concerts under conductors as Jordi Savall, Heinrich Schiff or Andrés Orozco-Estrada. Her studies with Prof. Helfried Fister, Prof. Anke Schittenhelm and Prof. Ida Bieler were completed with impulses from members of the Alban Berg Quartet, the Carmina-Quartet and from the concertmaster of Musica Antiqua Köln, Stephan Schardt.


Daniela is head of a violin class at the  "Johann-Joseph-Fux" State Conservatory Graz, Austria.
