Since October, 2022, the successful cooperation between the Johann-Joseph-Fux Conservatory Graz, the University of Performing Arts Graz and the City of Graz has enabled the “Vivaldi-Monday” in the Youth Centre Funtastic Graz: Children, age 4 to 8, have been taught free individual violin lessons once a week by highly-trained student artists who receive guidance from Daniela Hölbling as they begin their journeys in teaching.
The award-winning Vivaldi Project — named for composer and teacher Antonio Vivaldi — is a violin pedagogy program founded by professor Ida Bieler. The Project combines high-quality pedagogical training for emerging performing artists while bringing music instruction to children in less advantaged neighboring communities.
